About us

EK Mineral Haven is a business registered in Singapore [UEN: 53377023L]. We sell natural mineral specimens, crystals, gemstones and related items to collectors worldwide.

Product descriptions and photographs

Every specimen is photographed by us. We make every effort to represent each piece accurately, and we photograph damage and flaws as clearly as we can.

Please note:

• The main photograph does not indicate the size of a piece. Always read the listed dimensions.
• Weights and measurements are close approximations. Sizes may vary slightly depending on the direction of measurement. We generally measure lengthwise.
• Colour reproduction varies between screens and settings. A specimen may look different in person.
• Most of our specimens are one of a kind. The piece pictured is the piece you receive.  

If you have any concern about condition, size or damage, please ask before purchasing. We would much rather answer a question than process a return.

Natural materials

Mineral specimens are natural objects. Inclusions, growth marks, contact points, matrix attachment and minor imperfections are inherent to natural crystals and are not defects.

Handling and safety

Some specimens are fragile. Some contain elements that are toxic if ingested, inhaled as dust, or handled carelessly. Some are soft, water-soluble, or fade in sunlight.

Please open your parcel on a flat, clean surface where a small piece cannot be lost or damaged, and check all packing material before discarding it.

Before setting any stone into jewellery, research its hardness, cleavage and chemical composition. If you are unsure about a particular specimen, ask us.

You are responsible for the safe handling and storage of specimens after delivery.

Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in [USD]. Payment is taken in full at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel and refund an order where an item has been listed in error. 

Stock

Our specimens are largely one of a kind. Occasionally an item may sell simultaneously on another platform. If this happens, we will contact you immediately and refund you in full.

Intellectual property

All photographs and written descriptions on this site are our own work. Using our photographs without credit or permission is not permitted. Using our photographs to sell minerals is not permitted.

Claims of missing items

Claims for missing items must be made within 24 hours of delivery, after checking all packing material.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies.
